SET Exam Centers
The Maharashtra State Eligibility Test for Lectureship is conducted by Pune University in 12 different centers. They are Chandrapur, Solapur, Goa, Nagpur, Amravati, Nanded, Aurangabad, Jalgoan, Nashik, Kolhapur, Pune and Mumbai.
For making the process of applying for the SET examination easier, online application facility is made available to the candidates in the web site of Maharashtra State Eligibility Test for Lectureship. The candidates can apply online through the application form published in the web site. After duly filling in the form, with all the required details, the candidates will have to click the submit button. After this submission, the candidates will be allotted a unique application number and the candidates should take a note of this number.
After taking a note of this number, the candidates will have to take a print out of the application form submitted. Along with this print out the candidate has to enclose the final year mark sheet of their master’s degree, medical certificate in the case of physically handicapped and visually handicapped candidates, community certificate in the case of reserved category candidates and the demand draft drawn in favor of the registrar, university of Pune at any nationalized banks payable at Pune for an amount of Rs.550 for general category candidates and Rs.450 in the case of ST/SC/VH/PH candidates.
The candidates can send the duly filled in application form along with the required documents through registered post or in person to any of the 14 collection centers specified in the following link: http://setexam.unipune.ernet.in/CollectionCenters.html. The addresses of these centers with the name of the contact person have clearly been specified in the above-mentioned link.
The candidates will be able to get the admit cards from the web site of Maharashtra SET examination 15 days before the date of examination and the same will not be sent to the candidates by post.
