SET Result Date

SET examination is conducted in different states of India by the state agency and in the state of Maharashtra; this examination is conducted by the University of Pune.

University of Pune conducted the 24th SET examination on the 13th of September 2009 and the list of seat number of qualified candidates of this examination was issued on 12th of January 2010. According to the authorities, a total number of 28125 candidates appeared for this examination out of which a total of 519 candidates were qualified. The pass percentage is 1.85. According to the authorities, the marks of the qualified candidates will be published on the web site of SET on 11th of February 2010. The list of all qualified candidates with their names, application numbers, seat numbers, subject and center details can also be obtained from this link.

During the year 2008, the Maharashtra SET examination was held on 3rd February 2008 and the result of the same was published on 3rd of June 2008. During 2008 examination, the number of candidates appeared for the examination was 21340 out of which a total of 513 candidates were qualified.

From the above-mentioned figures it is clear that every year the number of candidates appearing for the SET examination is increasing and the number of qualified candidates is also increasing.

Generally, the results of Maharashtra SET examination are published after 4 months from the date of the examination. The candidates can get the list of selected candidates from the web site of Maharashtra SET examination itself.
